A felt hat worn by Napoleon Bonaparte during his reign at the helm of the French Empire fetched more than $2.1 million USD (1.932 million euros) at an auction in Fontainebleau, France, on Sunday. The total selling price, which includes auction fees, is a record for a Napoleon hat, said auctioneer Jean Pierre Osenat of the Osenat auction house.
