Poilievre calls for Trudeau to ‘compromise’ with Conservatives and freeze carbon tax amid housing crisis

After months of calling for the Liberal government to ‘axe’ the carbon tax, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre on Monday asked the feds for a ‘Canadian compromise’ and ‘at least freeze the tax in the meantime’ as Canadians struggle to grapple with inflation, rising housing costs and higher interest rates.
