World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adrhanom Ghebreyesus said on Wednesday that “hospitals are not battlegrounds,” condemning Israeli attacks on health institutions in Gaza. As of Wednesday, only one quarter of hospitals in the Gaza Strip are functioning, with 26 of 35 of them being either destroyed, without staff or non-functional, Tedros said.
