1 in 10 Torontonians now rely on food banks to make ends meet, new report shows

Speaking on Tuesday about Toronto’s food insecurity and poverty crisis, Daily Bread Food Bank CEO Neil Hetherington detailed the findings of the annual “Who’s Hungry” profile. He revealed that one in ten people in the city now rely on food banks — twice as many than in 2022 – according to the information released in this report.
