Canadian government faces backlash for Afghan Monument design choice

The selection of the design for the National Monument to the Mission in Afghanistan by the Trudeau government has sparked controversy. The decision-making process for this monument has come under fire, with plans for a separate military tribute in Ottawa already in motion.
