The Otipemisiwak Métis Government in Alberta partnered with the Edmonton Oilers to bring five Métis girls between six and 12 years old to the week-long, all-female summer hockey camp. As Emily Mertz explains, organizers hope the effort to improve diversity and inclusion creates meaningful change.
