On Sunday, a pro-Palestinian demonstration was dispersed by Turkish police using tear gas and water cannons.
According to Reuters, the protesters attempted to enter an air base that houses U.S. troops. The incident happened just before U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s scheduled arrival in Ankara to discuss the Gaza conflict.
