In Ottawa, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland met with her provincial and territorial counterparts to discuss Alberta’s plan to exit from the Canada Pension Plan (CPP). Freeland once again warned about the potential consequences and complications if Alberta follows through with the proposal.
