For the first time in almost a month, the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt has temporarily opened, allowing more than 300 foreign nationals and severely injured Palestinians to finally get out. Daniele Hamamdjian hears from some of the people who were lucky enough to leave, as Israel’s ground operation in Gaza advances, and desperation grows among those left behind.
