Trudeau ‘deeply concerned’ about death toll in Gaza, calls for humanitarian pause

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed concern about the death toll in Gaza amid weeks of air and artillery strikes from Israel, reiterating calls for a humanitarian pause so aid could make its way to civilians suffering. Following up, International Development Minster Ahmed Hussen said the government is “advocating for more access” to ensure that aid gets into the region.
