Jewish Montrealers held a rally downtown on Sunday to demand the release of hostages being held by Hamas. Many, including politicians, dismissed calls for a ceasefire, arguing that doing so would ease pressure on the militants. People at the protest told Global’s Phil Carpenter they want Montrealers of all backgrounds to speak out.
