Family members of Israeli hostages held by Hamas gathered at a news conference in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
“We live in this bizarre universe of not knowing if our relative is alive, dead, being taken care of — what did he eat? Where did he sleep?” said Ruby Chen, the father of 19-year-old presumed hostage, Itay Chen. “We represent about 200 hostages from about 35 different nationalities. We demand, not only the U.S., but all of the international community put on its highest agenda — number one agenda — bringing the hostages back home now,” Chen said.
