Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre pointed his finger at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the House of Commons Tuesday for causing “skimpflation” — a wordplay which Poilievre described as the level beyond inflation and “shrinkflation” in which food processors intentionally “strip out the nutritional value of food” to pay the liberal government’s carbon taxes.
