Canada’s Defence Minister Bill Blair said Monday that there are two Canadians reported missing in the wake of Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel and that the federal government is working with allies as well as calling for the release of all hostages. Blair also said members of the Canadian Armed Forces are among teams in Lebanon working on “planning and preparartion” about possible airlifts of Canadians stranded in Lebanon.
