The City of Dorval has implemented new road safety measures in light of two deaths that occurred just over one year ago. Last August, two Inuuk women who were staying at the Ullivik health centre, were struck and killed in two separate incidents on Montreal highways in a span of 24 hours. Officials say they hope the new measures announced will make the area safer for Inuit pedestrians and hopefully prevent any more deaths. Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports.
