With approximately 496 Canadians evacuated from Tel Aviv, Israel so far, Global Affairs Canada representative Julie Sunday said two additional Canadian Armed Forces flights will be departing the city on Friday. She added that there would be an “opportunity” for individuals to be evacuated through the Rafah border crossing in Gaza into Egypt on Saturday, as Canadian officials continue talks with Israeli and Egyptian authorities.
