American Claudia Goldin wins Nobel Prize in Economics

American economic historian Claudia Goldin is the winner of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Economics on Monday, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced Monday. Goldin was bestowed the prestigious award for “having advanced our understanding of women’s labour market outcomes,” the academy said.
