Trudeau denies government will move forward with $1B in cuts to military

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denied Thursday that the government will cut $1 billion from the defence budget, saying “there are no cuts to our military,” after Canada’s top soldier said they had been told to find ways to “take almost a billion dollars out of the budget.”
