The number of people waiting to get into a long-term care home in Quebec is the highest it’s ever been and one of the ways the province is looking to alleviate the pressure is to invest in home care services. But one Laval caregiver says it’s becoming increasingly difficult for her to get the amount of hours from her local health authority that both of her elderly parents need.
