Lytton B.C. is still the location of the hottest temperature ever recorded in Canada but much of the village remains in ruins after a wildfire in 2021.

Lytton, B.C. sets all-time Canadian heat record for third day in a row

According to Environment Canada, Lytton recorded temperatures in excess of 49 C on Tuesday afternoon after reaching 47.5 C on Monday and 46.6 C Sunday.
