Two men have been taken to hospital and are now in stable condition after two stabbings downtown Toronto.
Toronto police said the first incident occurred at Clinton and Harbord streets just before 1 p.m. on Thursday where a man was stabbed in the back. Minutes later, police said they were called to Markham and Harbord streets where another man was found with a stab-wound to the chest.
Later police said both victims were stabbed in the area of Clinton and Harbord streets.
Officers said the stabbings do not appear to be random.
A Toronto police spokesperson told Global News they are looking for two suspects. They said the suspects described at the first scene match the suspects described at the second.
Police said the first suspect was last seen wearing a brown Roots tracksuit and the second was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
