Edmonton man identified as victim of Strathcona County homicide

RCMP are searching for a blue 2018 Acura TLX after an Edmonton man was found dead just outside the city limits on Monday night.

Police identified the victim as 24-year-old Harpreet “Harry” Kang of Edmonton. His death has been ruled a homicide, but police have not released the cause of this death.

Kang’s body was found Monday night, on a road in the area of Township Road 515 and Range Road 234. The area is just outside the city’s southeast limits.

Members of the Edmonton Police Service and Strathcona County RCMP were called to the scene shortly after 9 p.m.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate and is now looking for a suspect vehicle, which is described as a blue 2018 Acura TLX. A stock photo of the vehicle was provided by the RCMP.
