Power is out to a number of homes in the Vernon area as the result of a landslide.
Reports say at least one property in the 9100 block of Eastside Road has been damaged.

An emergency route that runs between Kokanee Road and Eastside Road has been established for residents south of the landslide.
Residents and motorists cannot enter the area — only exit.
Crews are still assessing the situation and there’s no estimate on when the power will be restored.
