Sherret’s hard crash came just days after fellow Canadian Chris Del Bosco was in a horrific crash during the men’s competition. The 35-year-old went airborne on the final jump, landing hard on his right side.

Del Bosco suffered four broken ribs, a bruised lung and a fractured pelvis as a result of the crash.

Sherret made her World Championship debut in 2017, advancing through to the quarter-finals. However, the skier crashed on a training run, suffering multiple sprains and bruises.
