‘Who to call’ safety list now available for people in Winnipeg’s core area

If you have ever wondered ‘who you gonna call’ when it comes to safety issues in Winnipeg, there is now a list.

Winnipeg police and the West End BIZ teamed up to create a ‘Who do you call’ reference sheet of critical contact numbers for businesses and residents in the West End, Downtown and Exchange districts.

The list is part of the ‘Partners in Prevention’ guide, a tool given to businesses, employees and residents of the downtown area as a resource on how to prevent becoming victims of crime. The guide has been around since 2008 – the latest edition was released Nov. 23.

The complete guide is a free download from the BIZ’s website, Partners in Prevention. Hardcopies of the guide can be picked up at the BIZ office at 581 Portage Ave.
