Brookswood Secondary School was placed on lockdown on Wednesday afternoon.
Langley RCMP confirmed the school was locked down as officers searched the school and grounds for a suspicious man, possibly with a gun.
RCMP officers conducted a thorough search, both outside and inside the school and nothing was found.
“At this point in time, there is no evidence to indicate an armed individual entered the school and there have been no reports of injuries or violent acts,” Langley RCMP Supt. Murray Power said.
