Man and woman charged with manslaughter in Burnaby Starbucks death

Two people have been charged with manslaughter after an assault at a Burnaby Starbucks that left one man dead.

The victim, 22-year old Michael Page-Vincelli, was left bleeding and unconscious after being attacked at the Starbucks near Kensington and Hastings in July.

He was transported to hospital but later died of his injuries.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says 40-year-old Lawrence Alvin Sharpe and 35-year-old Oldouz Pournouruz have now been charged with manslaughter.

IHIT Cpl. Frank Jang says the attack was not random.

Sharpe and Pournouruz will appear in court on Nov. 20.
