Female pedestrian injured in northeast London crash

London police are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian in the city’s northeast end.

It was shortly before 10 a.m. Friday when emergency crews were dispatched to Huron Street and Briarhill Avenue, just west of Highbury Avenue North.

Police told AM980 that a woman was struck by a vehicle turning left onto Huron Street as she was crossing the road.

She suffered minor injuries in the incident and police have since charged the driver, a 53-year-old London man, with failing to yield for a pedestrian.
