N.S. RCMP locate missing man’s vehicle, search for David Lewis Foster continues

Lunenburg County RCMP is seeking assistance from the public to locate 64-year-old David Lewis Foster. RCMP

RCMP have located the vehicle of a missing Nova Scotia man – however the search for David Lewis Foster continues.

Foster was last seen on Oct. 7 when he left his home around 8 a.m.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, RCMP say Foster was located by a citizen inside his vehicle on a logging road off of Barss Corner Rd. in Parkdale, Lunenburg County.

When approached, Foster fled into the woods by foot.

RCMP say he was last observed on foot by a citizen in the Scarsdale area around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The RCMP Police Dog Service and a Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources helicopter have been called in to assist in locating Foster.

RCMP say they are concerned for Foster’s well-being and are asking him to contact family or police to confirm he is okay.

Foster is described as a white male, 5′ 11″ and 175 pounds, with dark brown/grey hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark fall jacket, blue jeans, tan work boots, a black ball cap and wearing glasses.

Anyone with information on Foster’s whereabouts is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
