Regina police seize more than 1kg of meth in traffic stop

Regina Police Service pulled over a vehicle in south Regina on Monday and seized a large amount of meth.

Two people who were in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop were arrested.

Once officers searched the vehicle they seized more than a kilogram of meth, cocaine, marijuana, hydromorphine and Canadian money.

Thirty-two year-old Kent Ryan Heise and 29-year-old Megan Dawn Chevrier, both of Regina, are jointly charged for several offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code of Canada.

Both Heise and Chevrier will make their first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon.
