Peterborough police say a 55-year-old man was stabbed at a residence on Talwood Court on Friday evening.
The incident happened around 7:15 p.m. Witnesses say it took place on an upper floor unit.
Officers attended the residence and discovered the man had been stabbed with a sharp object.

“There are no safety concerns to the general public at this time,” stated Staff Sgt. John Lyons stated.

On Monday police said the man remains in hospital in stable condition. Police will not be releasing any further details at this time.
The Peterborough Police Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate the incident.
