A cyclist was airlifted to hospital after a collision on Highway 1, just east of Deacon’s Corner Monday morning.
Police said the cyclist was struck by an SUV, while attempting to cross Highway 1. The 27-year-old was thrown into a ditch, and received non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV was not injured, but the passenger was treated for minor injuries.
A section of Highway 1 was closed to traffic for a period of time.
