A unconscious woman was taken to hospital in critical condition early Friday morning after being found in an intersection in Winnipeg’s North End.
Details are limited, but Winnipeg police say at 1:37 a.m. she was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries to her head.
The woman was discovered by a passerby at Main Street and Polson Avenue.
She had no identification.
The intersection was closed for a few hours but police have since reopened it.
They are still investigating how the woman got hurt.
