A severe thunderstorm watch for a number of towns in southeast Manitoba has ended.

The following towns were all at the risk of a severe thunderstorm Tuesday:

Winnipeg

Morden

Steinbach

Carman

Gimli

Pinawa

Portage la Prairie

Whiteshell

A mid-morning storm rolled through downtown Winnipeg around 10 a.m., bringing heavy rain, thunder and lightning.

Skies are expected to clear throughout most parts of Manitoba Wednesday.
