3 charged in Weed the North dispensary raid in Toronto

Three men are facing charges and another is wanted by police following a raid at a downtown Toronto marijuana dispensary.

Police said they executed a search warrant at a Weed the North location on Camden Street, in the area of Adelaide Street West and Spadina Avenue, at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators said they seized an undisclosed sum of cash and two kilograms of marijuana, plus nearly 52 grams of hashish and about 60 grams of a powerful marijuana derivative called shatter.

Small quantities of cocaine and oxycodone were also allegedly seized.

Two Toronto men, Zachary Ruxton, 22, and William Ruxton, 52, were each charged with three counts of drug possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime.

A Brampton man, Sean McNabb, 32, faces the same charges as well as another two, including a count of drug possession related to the cocaine and oxycodone.

Police say a fourth man, Cory William Stoneham, 35, of Niagara Falls, is also wanted in the case.
