Pointe-aux-Trembles car dealership target of arson attack

Montreal police arson squad is investigating a fire that took place at a car dealership in Pointe-aux-Trembles.

It happened at around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Notre-Dame Street East and Broadway Avenue.

“The fire was rapidly taken control of,” said Raphaël Bergeron, Montreal police spokesperson.

“We found traces of accelerant inside the premises.”

There were no injuries and no description of a possible suspect.
