Edmonton police say an 81-year-old woman reported missing Wednesday afternoon was located safe and sound in Edson, Alta. on Thursday.
Police put out a public plea Wednesday evening to help find the woman. She was last seen at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of 69 Avenue and 178 Street.

Officers were worried about the woman’s well-being as she has a medical condition that requires medication.
The woman was found at around 2 p.m. Thursday.
