A 17-year-old boy is facing weapons charges following an incident Tuesday afternoon in New Glasgow.
Police say they received a complaint about a possible firearm on board a school bus at about 3:45 p.m.
The firearm turned out to be a pellet gun, which New Glasgow Regional Police said was brought on the bus by a student.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The teen, who cannot be named because of his age, is charged with possession of a weapon.
He will appear in Provincial Youth Court at a later date.
