A 69-year-old woman is dead after a collision south of Aylesbury, Sask. Monday afternoon.

At around 4 p.m. CT, Craik RCMP, the Craik Fire Department and Davidson RCMP were called to a single-vehicle crash around 10 kilometres south of Aylesbury.

Police said a northbound truck left the road and skidded through the centre median before stopping on the northbound shoulder.

The 66-year-old male driver and the 69-year-old female passenger were taken to a Regina hospital. The woman was later pronounced dead.

Both occupants of the vehicle are from the Carry the Kettle First Nation. Police have not released their names.

No charges have been laid in the crash.
