Vancouver fire crews battled a blaze inside the Regent Hotel Saturday night.
The two-alarm fire was called at around 7:20 p.m. when smoke began showing in the lobby. At least seven fire trucks responded to the call.
The Regent Hotel is a single-room occupancy hotel for low-income tenants on the Downtown Eastside. Firefighters were called to the building in September after a mattress caught fire.
