Saskatchewan RCMP arrest 3 in stolen pickup truck in Battleford

Saskatchewan RCMP are laying Criminal Code charges after recovering a stolen vehicle in the town of Battleford this weekend.

Between late Friday night and after midnight, police received multiple complaints involving people in a pickup truck who were in possession of a firearm and stolen property.

Officers located the vehicle and arrested two men and a teenage boy. RCMP determined the truck had been stolen.

A 24-year-old man faces charges of impaired driving and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

A 20-year-old man faces a charge of being unlawfully at large.

The 17-year-old boy faces charges that include resisting arrest, two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

All three are expected to appear in North Battleford provincial court Monday morning.
