Two more candidates have launched campaigns to lead Alberta’s Progressive Conservatives.
Both Richard Starke and Donna Kennedy-Glans say their goal is to rebuild the party, not merge it with the Opposition Wildrose.
There are now four candidates running for the leadership, including Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson and former Conservative MP Jason Kenney.
Kenney is running on a platform to dissolve the party and merge it with the Wildrose to form a new conservative entity to defeat Premier Rachel Notley’s NDP.

Starke and Kennedy-Glans say the way forward is to rebuild bridges with party members and centrist voters.
Starke is the PC house leader and Kennedy-Glans is an oil industry consultant and former PC legislature member from Calgary.
