WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg police are warning the public about two people who are falsely saying they are undercover officers.
Over the past several days, police said they have received multiple reports of the two individuals approaching people saying they are undercover cops.
Police are reminding the public that officers have to carry a badge and a warrant card to identify themselves.
Officers working, but not in uniform (in plain clothes), will have a Winnipeg Police Service badge on their belt directly in front of their sidearm.
