Posters warning of ‘Balaclava Rapist’ Larry Takahashi pop up in East Vancouver

Posters have surfaced in East Vancouver warning about alleged sightings of convicted rapist Larry Takahashi.

Vancouver Police issued a public warning about Takahashi, also known as the “Balaclava Rapist,” last month after he was granted day parole in the Vancouver area.

According to Corrections Canada, Takahashi’s halfway house address cannot be revealed because of privacy laws.

Now someone in East Vancouver has put up posters that provide a photo and description of Takahashi. Some posters detail certain bus routes that Takahashi allegedly uses regularly.

Sources say he is strapped to an ankle bracelet for his day parole. Takahashi is serving three life sentences for rape.
