Halifax police are on the scene of a fatal vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Dartmouth.
Halifax Regional Police and emergency crews were called to the area of Primrose Street and Victoria Road Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old man from Dartmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Patrol officers and members of the forensics team continue to investigate.
Victoria Road has been closed in both directions between Highfield Park Drive and Albro Lake Road. Police say the road could be closed for some time and advise motorists to use different routes.
