Saskatchewan Rush ink Curtis Knight to 3-year deal

A key piece of the Saskatchewan Rush offence will be back in the fold.

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) team announced Monday via Twitter they have re-signed forward Curtis Knight to a three-year deal for 2017-19.

After missing the entire 2015 season due to a knee injury, Knight returned to play 15 regular season games with the Rush in 2016. He registered 42 points which was fifth highest on the team.

The 24-year-old forward had two goals and six assists in four 2016 playoff games as the Rush reclaimed the Champion’s Cup in their first season in the province.

The Oshawa, Ont., product was the Rush’s first-round pick in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.
