Police have seized fentanyl and charged three people following a drug bust in Saskatoon. The bust happened on June 4 when members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) said they witnessed drug deals being made.
They arrested a 23-year-old man who was found to be in possession of 36 fentanyl pills and $390 in cash. He is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, trafficking fentanyl and possession of the proceeds of crime.

A 31-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl.
SIDEST members also executed a search warrant in the Willowgrove neighbourhood. Inside a home in the 700-block of Padget Crescent, they found drug packaging, 8.5 grams of marijuana, 15 grams of cannabis resin and $5,880 in cash.
A 26-year-old man was charged in connection to the items found in the home. Police officials say he’s facing charges that include possession of marijuana, possession of cannabis resin and possession of the proceeds of crime.
The 23-year-old Saskatoon man made a court appearance on Tuesday. The two other accused are scheduled to appear in court before the end of the month.
