Police release photos of armed Moncton bank robbery suspect

RCMP are hoping surveillance photos will help them identify a suspect in an armed robbery in Moncton last week.

The National Bank on Elmwood Drive was the target of an armed robbery on Friday morning.

RCMP say a man wearing a balaclava and carrying a gun entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller.

As seen in the photos, the suspect was wearing a blue Ralph Lauren jacket with the hood pulled up. He is described as being about 5’9″ and had an English accent.

The man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in the robbery.
