Manitoba Progressive Conservatives will meet for the first time Wednesday

Manitoba’s new Progressive Conservative government will meet for the first time Wednesday morning.

Premier-designate Brian Pallister will speak to open the meeting with the newly elected caucus at the Legislature starting at 9 a.m.

The Conservatives are ending almost 17 years of NDP government in the province after a record-breaking majority win on the April 19 election.

Pallister is set to be officially sworn in on May 3.
