Car strikes intersection pedestrian in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – A pedestrian was taken to hospital Thursday night after being hit by a vehicle in West Kelowna.

It happened at about 7:15 as the man was walking across the intersection of Main Street and Elliott Road.

The 28-year-old Surrey resident suffered minor injuries.

The 55-year-old West Kelowna driver remained at the scene.

Police say witness evidence is not conclusive and charges have not been laid.
